Privacy Policy — Reviews Exporter Pro

Reviews Exporter Pro (the “Extension”) is a browser extension that lets you export publicly visible customer reviews from pages you are viewing (Google Maps, Trustpilot, Amazon) into CSV, JSON or Excel files. This policy explains what the Extension does and does not do with your data.

1. Data we collect

We do not collect, store, or transmit your personal data to our own servers. The Extension has no analytics, no tracking, and no advertising.

2. How the Extension processes review data

• Review data is read only from the page you are actively viewing, and only when you click the Extension and press “Load reviews”.
• All processing happens locally in your browser. Extracted reviews are turned into a file that you download to your device.
• We never send the extracted reviews anywhere. They do not pass through any server we control.

3. Permissions and why they are needed

• activeTab / scripting — to read the reviews on the current tab when you explicitly trigger an export. The Extension does not run automatically in the background on your browsing.
• downloads — to save the exported CSV/JSON/Excel file to your device.
• storage — to remember your preferences and license status locally.

The Extension does not request broad host permissions over all your browsing.

4. Payments

The optional “Pro” upgrade is handled by ExtensionPay and processed by Stripe. When you choose to upgrade, your payment details are entered on, and handled by, Stripe — never by us. We only receive your license status (paid / not paid) and the email associated with your purchase, in order to unlock Pro features. See the ExtensionPay and Stripe privacy policies.

5. Third parties

We do not sell, rent, or share any data with third parties. The only external service the Extension communicates with is ExtensionPay, solely to verify your license status.

6. Your responsibility

The reviews you export are published by their respective platforms. You are responsible for using exported data in compliance with the terms of service of those platforms and with applicable laws (including data-protection laws such as the GDPR).
